摘要: Abstract The ester-linked ω-hydroxy acyl chain linked to a sphingosine base referred as CER EOS is essential for the skin barrier lipid organization. While majority of lipids form dense, crystalline structure, associated with low permeability, unsaturated moiety EOS, (either linoleate or oleate chain) exists in liquid phase at skin's physiological temperature. Thus, relationship between and function not entirely comprehended. We studied permeability organization models, gradually increasing concentration, mixed non-hydroxy sphingosine-based ceramide (CER NS) an equimolar ratio CERs, cholesterol, free fatty acids (FFAs) mimicking native skin. A significant increase orthorhombic-hexagonal transition temperature was recorded when concentration raised 70 mol% total content higher, rendering higher fraction orthorhombic expense hexagonal model's did differ ranged 10 30% but increased significantly 70% higher. Using perdeuterated chain, it shown that while neighboring CERs FFAs remained state. therefore, had stronger effect on than forming phase.
