摘要: Abstract Vibrating reed measurements of the Young's modulus and internal friction orthorhombic TaS3 at its charge density wave transition (222K) are presented. The has a large dip (≈2%) increases (ΔQ−1 ≈ 5 × 10−5) transition; latter anomaly is sample dependent attributed to motion domains in CDW state. Estimates specific heat expansivity anomalies made. qualitative characteristics compared those previously observed transitions other materials.
