摘要: The efficacy of O-(beta-hydroxyethyl)-rutosides (HR) in chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) was assessed by using a meta-analysis on the basis randomized trials. Analyzed parameters were clinical symptoms related to CVI, i.e. pain legs, nocturnal cramps, tired swelling sensations and restless legs. treatments had be administered for at least 4 weeks average HR dose chosen 1000 mg/day. On total 21 evaluated trials, 15 selected that included 1973 patients. placebo-treated group showed significant (p < 0.01) improvement patients (i.e., disappearance symptoms) as follows: 27%, cramps 26%, legs 22%, 35% 26%. Compared placebo, mean additional favour 11% pains, 12% 14% 24% All these improvements 0.01). results robust stood up treatment effect all meta-analyses across subgroups In conclusion, this shows that, despite high response rate placebo therapy, therapy is significantly superior CVI.
