摘要: Biogenic volatile organic compounds emitted from plants are important constituents of atmospheric chemistry and play a major role in the resistance against various environmental stresses. However, little is known about how abiotic biotic environments on geographic scale relate to diversifications emission. Here, we present variations terpenes stored leaves single species common garden, using genetically differentiated local populations Japanese cedar, most dominant widely distributed tree Japan. Furthermore, determined composition fungal communities 50 locations, based presence or absence 158 inhabiting cedar. The results showed that terpenoids, especially those emitted, were highly diversified geographically structured among 12 populations. total amount was negatively affected by warm less-snow climates. On other hand, some terpenoid correlated antagonistic We propose diversification terpenoids not only climate, but also through biological interactions.
