摘要: When concrete is being transported through a pipe, the lubrication layer formed at interface between and pipe wall major factor facilitating pumping. A possible mechanism that illustrates to formation of shear-induced particle migration determining rheological parameters paramount simulate flow in pipe. In this study, numerical simulations considering various models were conducted compared with 170 m full-scale pumping tests. It was found multimodal viscosity model representing as three-phase suspension consisting cement paste, sand gravel can accurately layer. Moreover, shape effects constituents increased intrinsic more exactly predict pumped concrete.
