摘要: In modern VLSI technology, hundreds of thousands arithmetic units fit on a 1cm2 chip. The challenge is supplying them with instructions and data. Stream architecture able to solve the problem well. However, applications suited for typical stream are limited. This paper presents definition regular irregular stream, then describes MASA (Multiple-morphs Adaptive Architecture) prototype system which supports different execution models according applications' characteristics. first discusses model, explores features advantages through mapping hardware. Finally evaluated by ten benchmarks. result encouraging.
