摘要: During the period January to December 1998, National Malaria Center (CNM) carried out a parasitological survey of schoolchildren in rural and semi-urban areas, assess intestinal helminthic infections central parts Cambodia. In there were four schools Stung Treng Province (all situated along Mekong River), five Kratie (around rubber plantations), six Kampong Chhnang (along Tonle Sap Lake); three Beng Tumpon Commune Chbar Ampeou (Mean Chey District) selected for study. By Kato-Katz technique, prevalence soil-transmitted both urban areas was high. The infection rate between 10-40% Ascaris, 2-17% Trichuris 5-65% hookworm. Schistosomiasis opisthorchiasis found living River (Stung Province); S. mekongi ranged from 12 43%. These children with hepatomegalies. An intervention an area (Chraing Chamres) showed that after repeated treatment mebendazole 500 mg single dose every 6 months, all parasites had dropped about one third initial level.
