摘要: This research studies the feasibility and effectiveness of a new method strengthening existing RC T-beams in shear by using mechanically anchored unbonded dry carbon fiber (CF) sheets. eliminates debonding epoxy-bonded carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) sheets utilizes full capacity CF In this method, are wrapped around bonded to two steel rods. Then rods corners web-flange intersection T-beam with mechanical bolts. makes U-shaped jacket web which increases strength privilege higher tensile modulus elasticity compared composite CFRP. A total three span-to-depth ratio 2.0 were tested under increasing monotonic load till failure. The pilot tests done as proof-of-concept proposed T-beams. first T-beam, was control beam, failed shear. second beam strengthened CFRP sheet that externally zones. third sheet. test results showed had about 48% increase 16% epoxy-bonding method.
