摘要: One of the most challenging issues presently facing policymakers and public administrators in Italy concerns what to do with waste materials from building dismantling activities understand whether, extent, ever-increasing quantity demolition can replace virgin materials. The paper presents results a research programme that was focused on life cycle assessment (LCA) residential building, located Turin, which demolished 2004 by controlled blasting. A detailed LCA model set-up, based field measured data an urban area under re-design, paying attention end-of-life phase supplying actual rubble recycling. have demonstrated that, while recycling is economically feasible profitable, it also sustainable energetic environmental point view. Compared burdens associated embodied shell, potential 29% 18% terms energy greenhouse emissions, respectively. main made available order address future projects supply basic knowledge design for field.
