摘要: Recent work on gas cell frequency standards has led to a clearer understanding of the capabilities such systems. The physics quantum mechanical system allows designer start with linewidth approximately 1 part in 108 and signal-to-noise ratio, one-second noise bandwidth, excess 104. Carefully engineered systems have been demonstrated high stability reliability small weight volume. Frequency stability, which is important quality standard, studied over wide range averaging measurement times. A plot standard deviation ? shows broad minimum ?= 2.5×10-12 for run 40 hours; 2×10-11 15 minutes (? second time); = 4×10-11 330 days.
