摘要: Network protection against link failure is required to allow packets reach the destination with minimal packet loss when a occurs. When fails, traffic that attempts use failed interrupted. Typically, routers in network discover and find new route bypass link. Alternatively, well-known segment schemes can also be used speed up recovery time by rerouting locally through precalculated paths. However, several backup paths have prepared for each primary path, making path configuration rather complex poorly scalable. This paper proposes design fast an OpenFlow-based network. reduces number of flow entries messages needed rerouting, which turn memory size switch CPU load at controller. We show empirically using simulations our reduce about 60% 75%, respectively, compared existing design. Furthermore, we implement proposed on pan-European recover from as little 25 ms.
