摘要: Leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) has been shown to be essential for the implantation of mouse blastocysts. The present study was designed determine how LIF protein hormonally regulated in rabbit and uterus using immunohistochemistry. In unmated rabbits, at a low level uterine epithelium glands, up-regulated by progesterone alone or estradiol-17β combined. Estradiol-17β had no apparent effect. ovariectomized mice, very Progesterone These results suggest that is differentially estrogen, respectively. This would explain high observed glands prior blastocyst two species with different hormonal requirements implantation. © 1996 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
