摘要: Matrix excitation above the band-gap energy enables lanthanide ions in host–guest systems to be sensitized (see scheme; ET= energy transfer; REE= rare earth emission). The enhanced luminescence of the enclosed lanthanide ions gives characteristic linelike emission spectra.
