摘要: Introduction Patients referred for genetic counseling do not consistently complete a family history questionnaires (FHQ), which is required before scheduling appointment (GCA). A paper survey has traditionally been used to collect this FHQ data. This requires the counselor manually input patient9s information into pedigree generator prior their GCA, thereby delaying screening process. Some centers have switched from using web-based pedigree-generator, like PROGENY, collecting No literature date evaluated impact of change on patient compliance with completing FHQ, process, or outcomes. study assesses changes in and efficiency implementation PROGENY compared traditional surveying as means Hypothesis More patients will GCA there be reduced time between referral completion use survey.
