摘要: Constructing a map of indoor space has many important applications, such as navigation, VR/AR, construction, safety, facility management, and network condition prediction. Existing mapping requires special hardware (e.g., LiDAR equipment) well-trained operators. In this paper, we develop smartphone-based system that lets regular user quickly an by simply walking around while holding phone in his/her hand. Our accurately measures the distance to nearby reflectors, estimates user's trajectory, pairs different reflectors encounters during walk automatically construct contour. Using extensive evaluation, show our contour construction is accurate: median errors are 1.5 cm for single wall 6 multiple walls (due longer trajectory higher number walls). We provides error 30 90-percentile 1 m, which significantly better than state-of-the-art smartphone acoustic BatMapper [64], whose corresponding 60 2.5 m respectively, even after walks. further constructed can be used predict wireless received signal strength (RSS).
