摘要: Current cryptocurrencies, starting with Bitcoin, build a decentralized blockchain-based transaction ledger, main- tained through proofs-of-work that also serve to generate monetary supply. Such decentralization has benefits, such as independence from national political control, but significant limitations in terms of computational costs and scalability. We introduce RSCoin, cryptocurrency framework which central banks maintain complete control over the supply, rely on distributed set authorities, or mintettes, prevent double-spending. While policy is centralized, RSCoin still provides strong transparency auditability guarantees. demonstrate, both theoretically experimentally, benefits modest degree centralization, elimination wasteful hashing scalable system for avoiding double- spending attacks.
