摘要: Abstract The paper presents a review of the development edge plasma modeling at ITER and its interaction with evolving divertor design. SOLPS (B2-Eirene) code has been developed for, applied to, evaluation design for last 15 years. With respect to physics engineering design, had started as an tool into essential synthesizing information from theoretical analysis, experimental studies, intuition. Examples given in illustrate this process.
