摘要: Reflex blinking is primarily controlled by fast fibers of the palpebral portion orbicularis oculi but it difficult to record EMG from these with standard surface electrodes. To solve this problem, a small, easily-prepared, silver/silver chloride electrode embedded in dental cement casing was developed. Using electrode, recordings could be obtained component which were high quality and many times larger than those recorded slow or mixed orbital portion.
