摘要: Integrating a battery energy storage system (BESS) with solar photovoltaic (PV) or wind farm can make these intermittent renewable sources more dispatchable. This paper focuses on the development of control strategy for optimal use BESS this purpose. The considers rule-based scheme, which is solution problem defined, to incorporate operating constraints BESS, such as state charge limits, charge/discharge current and lifetime. goal have provide much smoothing possible so that resource be dispatched an hourly basis based forecasted solar/wind conditions. effectiveness has been tested by using actual PV data it shown indeed help cope variability in wind's solar's generation.
