摘要: The laryngeal amyloidosis is an uncommon disease accounting for 1% of all benign lesions larynx. commonest symptom the dysphonia, sometimes accompanied by stridor, globus sensation, dysphagia and, in rare occasions, cough, dyspnea and hemoptysis, specially when tracheobronchial tree also affected. This paper describes case a 30-year-old female patient, whose main symptoms were progressive dysphonia dyspnea, admitted at allergy service to rule out asthma. respiratory function tests showed obstruction medium small caliber ways without reversibility with salbutamol. Biopsies ventricular band, vocal cord arytenoid stained positive Congo red amyloid tissue, established diagnosis. complementary studies tissue remaining negative. Dyspnea had characteristics origin, caused pulmonary ventilation disorder provoked difficult arrival air alveoli, which decreased partial pressure oxygen CO2.
