摘要: Carbamazepine is an important drug used in the management of seizures, trigeminal neuralgia, and chronic pain syndromes. It has been associated with a variety adverse skin reactions including urticaria, lichenoid eruptions, erythroderma, erythema multiforme, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis. A 39-year-old white male had started on carbamazepine for intractable which resulted from right foot crush injury. Approximately 3 months after start therapy, patient developed generalized eruption following entire day sun exposure. Skin biopsies revealed atypical lymphoid infiltrate dermis collections lymphocytes within spongiotic vesicles epidermis, suggestive mycosis fungoides. The was treated systemic prednisone. Subsequent failed to reveal lymphocytes. Previous reports have described eruptions foci contact dermatitis patients phenytoin. To best our knowledge, this first reported case carbamazepine-induced simulating fungoides histologically.
