摘要: Background: Human pathogens are widespread in the environment, and examination of pathogen-enriched environments a rapid high-throughput fashion is important for development pathogen-risk precautionary measures. Methods: In this study, Local BLASTP procedure metagenomic screening environment was developed using toxin-centered database. A total 27 microbiomes derived from ocean water, freshwater, soil, feces, wastewater were screened procedure. Bioinformatic analysis Canonical Correspondence Analysis conducted to examine whether toxins included database taxonomically associated. Results: The specificity method tested with known unknown toxin sequences. indicated that most phylum-specific but not genus-specific. implied almost all associated phyla Proteobacteria, Nitrospirae Firmicutes. global showed pore-forming RTX adenylate cyclase Cya prevalent globally terms relative abundance, while polluted water feces samples pathogen-enriched. Conclusions: established detection environmental samples. Screening study provided quantitative estimate environment.
