摘要: We address the question whether sub-Saharan African countries have lower average growth rates in real GDP per capita than Asia, Latin and Middle America East. In contrast to previous studies, are no a priori assigned clusters based on geographical location. Instead, we propose latent-class panel time series model, which allows data-based classification of into such that within cluster same rate. Our empirical results suggest three sufficient describe different paths. Twenty-six belong low cluster, but 8 show comparable with many
