摘要: After a general discussion of pyroelectricity the figures merit for pyroelectric materials are considered different modes vidicon operation. Techniques material evaluation including measurement coefficient and thermal diffusivity reviewed. Separate sections deal with available crystalline, polymer, ceramic possible ways to improve these discussed. The most promising those which have already been used in greater detail. State-of-the-art data is presented. Pyroelectric arecompared based on mode operaton, merit, modulation transfer function. Finally, areas new research outlined.
