摘要: We addressed the spatiotemporal characteristics of four commensal rodent species occurring in Myanmar comparison with other areas Indo-Malayan region. examined sequence variations mitochondrial cytochrome b gene (Cytb) Pacific rat (Rattus exulans), roof rattus complex, RrC), lesser bandicoot (Bandicota bengalensis), and house mouse (Mus musculus) using recently developed time-dependent evolutionary rates mtDNA. The Cytb sequences RrC from were shown to belong Lineage II, their level genetic diversity was relatively high compared those three species. found have experienced bottleneck rapid expansion events at least twice late Pleistocene period a nearby Accordingly, paleoclimatic environmental fluctuations be an important factor affecting rodents subtropics Our results show that human activities during last 10,000 years Holocene affected population dynamics examined, including introducing them neighboring countries. Further study these geographic region would allow us better understand factors drove evolution ecological trends.
