RDM: Rapid Deduplication for Mobile Cloud Storage

摘要: Cloud storages are used to expand the storage on mobile devices. It can be accessed through an internet connection. On devices, network data expensive in terms of tariff and power consumption. Deduplication reduce amount transferred. This paper proposes a fast deduplication system for devices named rapid cloud (RDM). RDM is based smart (SDM) asymmetric extremum (RAM). RAM as chunking algorithm instead Rabin which SDM. Our experimental results show at least 39.5% 44.7% faster cost 4.2% 9.1% higher size after deduplication.
