摘要: Abstract High performance water soluble epoxy ester resin was synthesized by partially reacting bis-phenol A based with different fatty acids. The resultant then reacted diethanol amine. These resins were characterized FTIR, NMR, DSC and TGA. Further, the prepared esters neutralized using phosphoric, lactic, acetic hydrochloric acids to make them soluble. Mild steel panels coated their evaluated monitoring adhesion, tensile, scratch hardness, bend impact resistances. corrosion resistance properties of coatings salt spray, seawater immersion electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. It is observed that phosphoric acid tung oil has better mechanical anticorrosive than rest polymers.
