摘要: We analyze theoretically the bound-state spectrum of an Aharonov Bohm ring in a two-dimensional topological insulator using four-band model HgTe quantum wells as concrete example. calculate analytically circular helical edge states and their well bound evolving out bulk function applied magnetic flux dimension ring. also spin-dependent persistent currents, which can be used to measure spin single electrons. further take into account Rashba spin-orbit interaction that mixes derive its effect on spectrum. The tunability allows for coherent mixing degrees freedom electrons, could exploited information processing rings.
