摘要: The selection of an asphalt binder that resists permanent deformation is a challenge, particularly to relate such resistance the corresponding mixture behavior in field. main goal this paper evaluate relationship between binders’ rutting obtained laboratory with field observations mixtures containing those binders. performances three monitored test sections were evaluated Brazil. was by Uniaxial Repeated Load and Triaxial Stress Sweep (TSS) tests. binders tested for Performance Grade (PG), as well percentage recovery (R) non-recoverable compliances (Jnr) through Multiple Creep Recovery (MSCR) test. Rutting performance prediction conducted using Layered ViscoElastic analysis Critical Distresses (LVECD) TSS results. results pointed out characterization itself not sufficient estimate mixtures, because important role aggregates. Nevertheless, poor MSCR tests tend indicate (field laboratory), i.e., can be used avoid selecting may lead deformation.
