摘要: The climatic and vegetation history of a western Amazonian cloud forest is documen- ted in continuous pollen record spanning the full last glacial period between 43.5 22k cal. yr BP. chronology for this based on eight radiocarbon dates yielding low-resolu- tion analysis region. A bioclimatic envelope model was generated basis mod- ern altitudinal distributions data, which produced palaeotemperature estimate ca. 5 C relative to present. Palaeoecological evidence moist cover basin indicates that forests were not fragmented during LGM. This supports wet conditions Amazonia at LGM further refutes hypotheses aridity 44k Copyright 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
