摘要: A short review of oscillator noise theory development is presented. Two types harmonic oscillators are considered in the review: quartz crystal and voltage controlled oscillators. Development connection with steady-state operation stability discussed from early stages to modern state. Three basic characteristics for each type output power, tuning range, PM-AM noise.
