摘要: Abstract Anaerobic ammonium oxidation (anammox) is a promising technology for autotrophic removal of and nitrite. In order to expand its industrial application niche, effects organic matter need more specific investigation. this study, the C2/C3 fatty acids stress on anaerobic process were evaluated in batch experiments. BLAST search analysis 16S rRNA sequences showed that homology highly enriched anammox consortia used here Candidatus Jettenia asiatica ( J. ) reached 99%. Results low acetate (⩽30 mg/L) propionate (⩽50 mg/L) concentration does not significantly influence oxidation. Higher acetate/propionate concentrations caused decrease removal. A level no than 240 mg/L consumption rate by 33%, 29% with higher adaptability acetate. Real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR) results reveal bacteria are capable growing at present low-concentration (⩽120 mg/L)/propionate (⩽200 mg/L). The hzo gene round 0.5 × 10 8 –1.0 × 10  copies/ml after 36 days cultivation acid. However, there superiority grow under organotrophic conditions compared ones.
