EFFECT OF TILLAGE AND FERTILIZER TREATMENTS ON MAIZE FODDER YIELD UNDER RAINFED CONDITIONS OF PAKISTAN

摘要: The effect of deep and shallow tillage fertilizer treatments i.e., recommended dose (RF), farm yard manure (FYM) plus farmyard (RF+FYM) on maize fodder yield was studied under rainfed conditions Pakistan. It observed -2 that the emergence count m , biomass, plant height, number leaves per enhanced, with application RF+FYM. However, FYM+RF statistically non-significant average basis RF+FYM treatment -1 produced higher green (19971.5 kg ha ) than 18349.1 by applying fertilizer. these two were significantly FYM control treatments. gave lowest (16997 lower (17278.7 obtained in treatment. nutrient availability increased biomass production, however, promoted weed infestation reduced maize, but it improved overall forage as recorded non-significant.
