摘要: Objectives:Nasal irrigation is standard in the management of chronic rhinosinusitis both before and after surgical intervention. Numerous devices are commercially available. The aim this study was to compare efficacy a handheld pulse device against gold manual squeeze bottle endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS).Methods:Five cadaveric specimens were prepared with video visualization ports into each sinus. Endoscopic performed on cadaver from minimal maximal dissection. Sinuses irrigated fluorescein solution using following irrigations recorded. A blinded independent observer scored according defined scale.Results:Comparison 2 an intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC = 0.39) showed systems differed.
