摘要: Abstract Saltation (fundamental changes in a species single-generation) has been argued to be incompatible with evolution and Darwinism. Indeed, the mental image of “hopeful monster” looking unsuccessfully for mate used ridicule concept put forward by Richard Goldschmidt 1940. Nonetheless, over last decade it become well known that simple, common pericentric inversions chromosomes (which may have no effect on morphology) drastically decrease fertility affected individuals when mated normal centromere parity. But, mating between same (inverted) parity appears lead formation population homozygous inverted chromosomes, which fertility. In this paper, is these populations homogeneous (pericentromeric) represent nascent new within larger parent species. Examples involving mice, horses even humans are presented. The phenotypes almost indistinguishable from they only diverge general through stochastic variation selection during periods ecological change.
