摘要: An analysis is presented for the linear stability of a liquid film, adjacent to compressible viscous gas stream. The valid all wavelengths and Reynolds numbers. pressure shear perturbations exerted by on are calculated, using model which takes into account viscosity, velocity profile, heat transfer. results show that an inviscid, uniform stream inadequate unless disturbed boundary layer very thin. Although present in fairly good agreement with experimental observations subsonic flow, it does not predict observed wave speeds supersonic flow.
