摘要: The C4 dicarboxylic acid pathway of photosynthetic carbon assimilation (the pathway) is a complex biochemical and physiological elaboration the common reduction cycle (PCR cycle, C3 pathway; Bassham Calvin, 1962). We define as complete reaction sequence in which CO2 transferred via C-4 carboxyl acids to reactions PCR there reduced level carbohydrate (Hatch Slack, 1970; Hatch et al., 1971; Black, 1973; Hatch, 1976a). distinctive features this process are carboxylation associated leading synthesis acids, those concerned with subsequent decarboxylation these supply for cycle. Unlike restricted chloroplast, involves operation cytoplasm, mitochondria, chloroplasts, transport intermediates between intracellular compartments. In sense it may be compared another well-established glycolate photorespiration (see Chap. II,5). However, an additional feature mandatory exchange adjacent cells. These exchanges constitute one most rapid forms symplastic known.
