摘要: Picture-object correspondence provides an alternate method of investigating delayed matching by providing a cue (picture) which may be spontaneously perceived as similar but different from corresponding target. Memory for, and choice of, target to could facilitated the use picture. Bumblebees have been found both easily differentiate images objects also perceive similarity between two. Herein, approach was designed test possible picture cues signal reward in task. Target preference tested among three bumblebee (Bombus impatiens) colonies using photograph (presented prior stimuli) one four stimuli. Photograph were only predictor reward, presented stable locations. Rewarded unrewarded tests show significantly higher than chance for targets cue. Results suggest that bumblebees can learn Furthermore, experience, conditions inconsistency location, are discussed contributing factors learning
