摘要: Echeveria sonianevadensis, a new species endemic to the fir forests of Nevado de Colima volcano, southern Jalisco, Mexico, is described and illustrated. It belongs series Gibbiflorae it differs from fulgens var. obtusifolia as an apparently closest taxon in having broader, obovate not pruinose leaves, cylindrical urceolate or campanulate corolla scarlet-red nectaries. Its conservation status according IUCN criteria assessed Critically Endangered (CR).
