摘要: The respiratory tract serves as a passive portal of entry for various inhaled gases (e.g., CO) and vapors benzene, toluene, methanol) well target organ the toxicologic effects certain reactive O3) particulate matter. I will limit my remarks to latter class air pollutants discuss only on system. Nevertheless, we should bear in mind possibility that systemic localized may be attributable toxicants. My deal with some issues experimental protocol development, newer techniques suitable use human subjects, promise pitfalls vitro study cells. Most illustrations come from ozone toxicology which have greatest familiarity, but hope generalizable.
