摘要: Voluntary exercise can ameliorate insulin resistance. The underlying mechanism, however, remains to be elucidated. We previously demonstrated that inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) in the liver plays an important role hepatic resistance setting of obesity. In this study, we tried verify our hypothesis voluntary improves by reducing expression iNOS and subsequent S-nitrosylation key molecules glucose metabolism liver. Twenty-one Otsuka Long-Evans Tokushima Fatty (OLETF) rats, a model type 2 diabetes mellitus, 18 non-diabetic control (LETO) rats were randomly assigned sedentary group or subjected wheel running for 20 weeks. significantly reduced fasting blood HOMA-IR OLETF rats. addition, decreased amount mRNA Moreover, levels S-nitrosylated Akt liver, which increased those observed LETO These findings support resistance, at least partly, suppressing Akt, molecule signal transduction pathways
