摘要: The extraction of ores and minerals by underground mining often causes ground subsidence phenomena. In urban regions, these phenomena may induce small to severe damage buildings. To evaluate this damage, several empirical analytical methods have been developed in different countries. However, are difficult use compare due differences the number criteria used (from 1 12). Furthermore, results provided evaluation be significantly from one method another. present paper develops vulnerability functions based on a concept that has applied other areas, such as earthquake engineering, appears more efficient way assess building undermined cities. A methodology is described for calculating zones using methods. first part focuses existing evaluation, selected necessary improvements or modifications justified. second development typology its application Lorraine region, where many villages subject problems iron-ore mining. third section describes discusses adopted determining fragility curves. Finally, tested validated with set three subsidences occurred between 1996 1999.
