摘要: Abstract Huntite and hydromagnesite are important minerals in the synthesizing of fire-safe composites. They mostly not pure associated with gangue like magnesite, dolomite, aragonite calcite. In this study, run mine ore was subjected to physicochemical treatment as a function different size fraction. For observing wetting behaviour, contact angle measurements were carried out. It found that addition Na-oleate rendered particle surface hydrophobic finding confirmed adsorption capability collector on powdered sample. Flotation results indicated grade huntite increased from 50% 84% by decreasing mineral powder. The optimum degree liberation achieved at 38 µm. X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) used perform phase analysis, morphology elemental analysis mineral.
