摘要: Theoretical modeling of perturbations introduced into turbulent boundary layers by an isolated hump can be carried out within the scope Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations. The main obstacle is closure problem. Having chosen a model that suitable for layer, one may expect it will not adequate perturbations. As known from asymptotic analysis laminar with roughness elements, physics and governing equations depend on length, width, height. Even at small heights element, should are nonlinear. These other questions relevant to roughness-induced discussed in lecture.
