摘要: In recent years, the translation of genomic discoveries into mainstream medical practice and public health has gained momentum, facilitated by advent new technologies. However, there are often major discrepancies in pace implementation medicine between developed developing/resource-limited countries. The main reason does not only lie limitation resources but also slow adoption findings poor understanding potential that this discipline offers to rationalize diagnosis treatment. Here, we present critically discuss examples from successful resource-limited countries, focusing on pharmacogenomics, genome informatics, genomics, emphasizing latter case education, stakeholder analysis, economics pharmacogenomics. These can be considered as model cases readily replicated for wide pharmacogenomics other environments.
