摘要: Three examples of collaborative research methods, Action Research (AR), Design Science (DS), and Participatory (PD), have been applied successfully in Information Systems (IS) research. This paper investigates whether projects which are prominently published under one method also meet the characteristics respective 'other two' methods could thus be those methods. For instance, we examine a project conducted as DS work classified appear AR or PD. The first outlines three along their (1) contribution, (2) roots, (3) methodological guidelines. It then applies text analysis to fifteen selected publications, five for each method, AR, DS, finds that applying different demonstrate remarkable similarities concerning contributions, guidelines, but use terminologies, maintaining methodspecific publication outlets communities.
