摘要: Abstract This communication describes the development of anion-exchange membrane (AEM) with a modified surface possessing monovalent ion selectivity and antifouling properties. Modified AEMs series was obtained by formation an oppositely-charged thin layer utilizing sulfonation grafted AEMs. The creation interface leads to significant increase in Cl/SO4 appearance humic acid sorption resistance. best surface-sulfonated (s-AEM) has high ionic conductivity 11.2 mS cm−1 up 6.4 electrodialysis. sulfonated characterized IR spectroscopy electron microscopy. relationship between structure thickness cation-exchange observed changes transport properties such as diffusion permeability, conductivity, potentiometric numbers, current-voltage characteristics are discussed. It shown that s-AEM desalination process depends on current density. data were successfully interpreted using mathematical model based concept bipolar control anion through it.
