摘要: The kinetics of molecular oxygen electroreduction were studied on platinum surfaces modified by tin underpotential deposition. surface process was analysed cyclic voltammetry in aqueous 10−4 M tin(II)/1 sulfuric acid the 0.05 to 0.70 V vs RHE range. Platinum sites involving (1 1 0) planes are mainly related deposition as observed hydrogen sorption region. Kinetic runs for reduction performed with rotating ring-disc electrode technique tin-modified surfaces. It concluded that takes place through bulk peroxide and water formation. This interpretation confirmed calculating reaction order respect oxygen. Electrochemical rate constants pathways calculated a function potential based Damjanovic's scheme.
