摘要: Abstract The one-photon absorption spectrum of molecular oxygen in the photoionization threshold region has been recorded at high resolution (λ/Δλ = 2 × 10 5 ) against background continuum a synchrotron radiation source. room temperature as well rotationally cold supersonically expanding jet ( T rot ≍ 20 K) have registered on photographic plates. drastically reduced complexity spectra led to unambiguous identification two 3 Π u vibronic levels 16 O 93 850 and 95 360 cm −1 ; rotational Λ-type doubling parameters determined. In addition, upper state previously reported strong band 18 86 733 (86 697) (Ogawa et al. , J. Mol. Spectrosc. 55, 425-429, 1975) tentatively attributed ν 0 bound second adiabatic potential arising from interaction · π 4 g p σ Rydberg with valence configuration (Buenker Chem. Phys. Lett. 34, 225-231, 1975; 42, 383-389, 1976).
