摘要: Addresses the problem of structural edge detection and discusses possibilities application this information to image compression. For purpose detecting an efficiently, authors first divide into appropriate nonoverlapping blocks estimate fractal dimension each block by using blanket-covering method. Secondly, points are efficiently detected a wavelet transform where dilation parameter is controlled based on dimension. The proposed method was tested real two functions, results shown. >
